A "THANK YOU" for our troups!

The sketch for this came from KL Stampin & Scrappin. The challenge was to use the sketch and flowers. I am really excited how this turned out. Now I need to find a place to send it to so one of our troups will know just how much they are appreciated.

The ladies over at Friends Having Fun posted a challenge today...Whatever inspires you about Memorial Day.

Color Challenge

The color challenge for this card came from Colour Create

Jake's Graduation Card

The sketch for this card is from Taylored Expressions

I wasn't going to make a card...didn't figure a young man graduating from high school would really care, but...when it came down to it....I just couldn't buy one!

A card for Jayme

While being lost in blog land I came across this special request from Lisa and thought I would just love to make a card for Jayme!

Copied from Lisa's Blog: I am having a special event for my sister Jayme. She is in her early 50's and has terminal lung cancer. To make it worse, her sweet dachshund Molly passed away a couple weeks ago. Today we learned her cancer has spread to several other areas and her time is running out. I am asking for all my card making friends to send her a fun card...not really get well cards obviously, but something pretty or funny that will make her smile. She is a frog collector so frog cards would be awesome!

The sketch I used for this card came from Our Creative Corner.

My New Pixie Cottage Stamp

This stamp was much larger than I expected when I ordered it but I think I did ok with the sketch from Crafting Life's Pieces. She was so much fun to work with! Thanks for looking!

Rain rain....go away!

The sketch I used for this card is from Friday Sketchers
It also qualifies for the latest challenge over at the Sophisticat Challenge Blog The challenge there is for "Splish Splash"

Happy Birthday to my Hubby!

Today is my husbands birthday and here is the card I made for him. I have pictures of when he was little where he is wearing bib overalls just like this. He loved his card! Thanks for looking!

Sketch and Stash Challenge Blog

After seeing the sketch on the Sketch and Stash Challenge Blog I just knew I had to use it to make a card. I love the way this turned out!!! I had never used the bear stamp before so that would be my new, never used or neglected stash item.
