After seeing the sketch on the Sketch and Stash Challenge Blog I just knew I had to use it to make a card. I love the way this turned out!!! I had never used the bear stamp before so that would be my new, never used or neglected stash item.

Here is a card I made for a good friend who is having a Birthday soon. Hope she likes it.

The great sketch came from Friday Sketchers....loved doing this one.

The color challenge is from If the Shoe Fits Scrap It. Chocolate and Teal

Just Magnolia's challenge this week is anything goes but it MUST include a Magnolia stamp. I just love this one!

Spoonful of Sugar challenged us to make a Birthday card.

Finally a new card to look at!

Between being gone for our 10th anniversary and me being sick with a horrible sinus infection I haven't had much time or desire for card making. I sat down yesterday afternoon and was determined to get an Easter card done for my mom (she seems to get most of my cards...lol.) Everything was going great until I needed the perfect embellishments. I searched and hunted and looked at all the things I have....only to come up empty handed. An hour past my bedtime I remembered that I had a Sizzlets Die that made buttons. I was so excited...but knowing I had to get up at 4 AM I had to put them off until today. Well...I think the wait was worth it...I love how this turned out.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I thought I would make a card for St. Patrick's Day to send to my mom. She loves getting cards in the mail and I think this will surprise her! I usually try to wear green on the 17th but don't do much more to celebrate. (my days of "green beer" are long gone! lol) Do any of you celebrate?

Happy Birthday

This is my first attempt at a gate card. I think it turned out ok. Took me long enough...in fact...the sketch challenge that I was following ran out before I finished the card...lol.

It does qualify for this weeks challenge over at Papertake Weekly. We are to use buttons, brads, bows or bling. I used brads, added a bow and for a little bling I added stickles to her wings!

Dutch Dare Card Challenge #72 "open the gate" was to make a gate card.

Creative Card Crew is having a birthday celebration!!!! The challenge is "celebration" and I think a birthday is a great reason to celebrate!

Stamp Something has a challenge going to make something girly....girly colors, girly image, girly theme...etc.

One Stop Craft Challenge "Sew Simple"

Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturdays has an "open challenge" this week.

Pollycraft Monday Challenge asked us to use "Distressing" on our projects this week. I inked around the stamped images and also the designer paper.

The Quixotic Challenge "Leave It Out" called for using leaves on our project. I added leaves around the flower.
